Huskies Rule!
Call us crazy, but Siberian Huskies are the bestest doggies in the whole wide world!
Betcha can't have just one!
One night while Mark and I were leaving my brother in laws house at about 9 pm, we came across a strange sight. As I opened the door, I saw a gray and white creature with almost white eyes. It freaked me out, so I turned on the porch light and figured out we were looking at a Siberian Husky.
She was limping and we decided to keep her until we could find her owner. We then noticed she had a wound on her chest. We took her to a vet and he kept giving her antibiotics, then after the 2nd time of going back and getting meds, we decided to take her to Hick's Animal Hospital. I took her in and the first thing Dr. Hicks said was that she had an object in the sore and that surgury would be scheduled asap.
Well, we got that taken care and it turned out that she had a 22 hollow point bullet in her. We never found anyone who would own up to having her, probably afraid of paying the vet bills.
She has been with us for almost 2 years now, and once I got attached to her (within 5 secs of seeing her) I decided that this was the only breed for me.
We decided that she needed a friend and with Mark being deployed to Iraq I found Anya.In July of last year, I brought her back home with me and after being put in her place, Willow can't be away from her.
Then, in January of this year, Malachi came into our pack. This time it was Anya that wanted to put the pup in his place, while Willow welcomed him openly.
I will have more, I will I will :)

We are a mix matched pack made up of two humans, a gray and white three year old sibe who is so well behaved it isn't funny. She also sometimes likes to act like a boy and hike her leg!
A gray(seems to be more black) and white that is a year and 4 months old who wants to be the center of attention and hopefully will be the bestest mommy ever.
Then we have a sable and white that is 9 months old and is the biggest sweetheart you can ever find.
Somehow, all three of our furkids have blue eyes.
Not only is love thicker than blood, but it seems to also be thicker than a double coat too!
